About Snowfall

Snowfall sits in the far northeast of Adamah, where the wind never rests and the Endless Sea freezes into sheets of ice. Its people follow the Great Light and read the snow itself as a sign of the divine. Villages and clans are scattered across a land the old kings swore was shaped like a wolf: the Heart at its center, the Howl at its head, the Tail sweeping southwest. King Taiga rules from a grand igloo on a throne of lumber and ice, wearing a caribou antler crown made by his first wife, Aurora.

But Snowfall is not one people. The Zynn resent the king, the Villmann raid, the Hyrox sell death for a price, and the all-female Dayidails answer to no man. Taiga has three wives and four sons, and a hunt for the last snow leopard that has become something closer to obsession. When a stranger bearing a cross warns of a coming evil, the king decides he has been chosen to meet it.
